Email us with any question about the app, your account, or your subscription. Tell us what boat you were working on and what you were trying to do, and include a screenshot if something looked wrong — it gets you a useful answer faster.
Upload the manuals for your engine, electronics and gear, or photograph an equipment nameplate and let Bosun find the right documentation. Once your vessel has documents attached, ask Bosun a question in plain language and the answer comes back with the source page it came from.
Bosun's answers are generated by AI models and can be incomplete or wrong. Always check the source page shown with the answer. For anything involving gas, electrical, rigging or the safety of the vessel, consult a qualified marine technician, surveyor, or the manufacturer's own documentation — see our Terms of Service.
New accounts get a free window with every feature unlocked and a usage budget for each one. When the window ends, BosunMarine stays readable — your manuals, vessel record and past conversations are all still there — and a subscription restores chat, uploads and Smart Onboarding.
If you subscribed on an iPhone or iPad, Apple handles the billing: open Settings on your device, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose BosunMarine. You can cancel there at any time, and the subscription runs to the end of the period you have already paid for. If you subscribed on the web, manage it from your account settings in the app.
Open the subscription screen in the app and tap Restore Purchases. If that doesn't pick it up, email us from the address on your Apple ID and we'll sort it out.
Email support@bosunmarine.app and ask us to delete your account. Our Privacy Policy explains what is deleted and what we are required to keep.
Your vessel's documents are yours, and are only shared with crew you invite to that vessel. What you send to Bosun is processed by our AI providers to generate an answer; the Privacy Policy lists every provider and what each one receives.
